A dojo bag being prepped. The original design for the dojo bag had a single layer bottom. I soon decided they merited a double layer for durability, and wanted to quilt the layers together. Sitting at the machine, I started with concentric circles turning inward to the center, and as a last minute flourish turned to make the wave. So now that's what I do.
